If I was here from day one, AC Milan would have won title – Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims AC Milan would have won the Serie A crown if he had been at the club since the start of the season. Ibrahimovic, who arrived on a free in January, scored Milan’s first as they fought back from 2-0 down to beat league leaders Juventus 4-2 on Tuesday night. Adrien Rabiot and Cristiano Ronaldo scored quickfire goals early in the second half to give Juve a 2-0 lead. But Milan were awarded a 62nd minute penalty after a VAR check deemed Leonardo Bonucci guilty of a handball, and Ibrahimovic converted from the spot
The Federal Government has confirmed that another total lockdown across Nigeria looms if Nigerians don’t change their attitude in the coming days. This was confirmed by the Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce PTF on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Mr. Boss Mustapha. COVID-19: Another lockdown looms if… — PTF Chairman “As to whether we would advise Mr. President to consider another lockdown, I have said it here that lockdowns might not be popular but what will happen in the preceding weeks will determine,” he said. “I believe as the days and weeks ahead would present, I will not be speculative as to what would happen in the future, but we will do everything within our mandate to ensure the safety and the protection of the well-being of the people of Nigeria. “If that would require a recommendation of a lockdown, this Taskforce will not shy away from its responsibilities. We will take that decision. “We will make our recommendations to Mr. President who will finally decide but we would first take a decision on our side as members of this Taskforce within the context of the mandate that has been given to us and make that recommendation. But such a decision or advice being taken now would be speculative. “What would happen in the next two to three weeks would determine what would eventually be our recommendation.”
All Schools In Kenya To Remain Close Until January 2021
George Magoha, Kenya’s Education Minister, said students would repeat a year as schools had closed in mid-March, three months after the school calendar had begun, the BBC reports. “The 2020 school calendar year will be considered lost due to COVID-19 restrictions,” he said. The decision would apply to public and private schools. Kenya has more than 8,000 confirmed cases of Coronavirus with at least 164 deaths. Magu Must Be On Watch-list So That He Will Not Escape —Ayodele Fayose
“Just as Magu directed that I be placed on “Watch-list” even when I had immunity as a sitting gov, Magu too must be placed on watch-list so that he won’t run away”. “EFCC, DSS, Customs, Police, Immigration, Army, Navy, Air Force, others, over to you. What goes around comes around.”
A Nigerian professor, Cyril Otoikhian, has challenged the Nigerian government and other scientists working on COVID-19 to prove the existence of the virus in the country. The professor of genetics at the Novena University, Delta State, in a Monday morning programme on Channels TV, shocked his interviewers when he argued that the virus does not exist as there has been no known evidence to prove its existence. Mr Otoikhian claimed there was secrecy surrounding the diagnosis of the disease in the country. He said that suggested that the disease does not exist. He claimed the controversy in Cross River State, where the government claimed for a prolonged period that there were no COVID-19 cases within its territory, was expected as the federal government has not been open in its handling of the pandemic. There have been lots of unscientific claims about the existence of COVID-19 in Nigeria and elsewhere. After he recovered from the disease, the founder of DAAR Communications, owners of African Independent Television and Raypower FM, Raymond Dokpesi, said the disease was not much different from malaria. But because Mr Otoikhian is a scientist and researcher, his claim appeared to have shocked his interviewers and this reporter sensed utter disbelief in their eyes as the professor responded to questions. The lecturer remained unconvinced that the COVID-19 exists despite the World Health Organisation (WHO) confirming it as the infectious disease ravaging the world. The virus and the disease it caused were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. COVID-19 is now a pandemic, affecting many countries around the world. The disease has infected close to 12 million people and killed 541, 086 of them. Despite the increasing figures of confirmed cases and deaths related to the disease, the professor of genetics claimed the virus is not real. “Why can’t they bring whatever they are doing indoors, outside? Mr Otoikhian said. “You say that it is real, then show it to use that it is real. If you bring it outside, then we set a flat table and all the scientists are there, the reagents and the camera is before everybody. “Then let’s see what COVID-19 is, whether it exists. I have asked severally, let them bring somebody that is positive to COVID-19 and someone that died from COVID-19, carry out an autopsy on the dead body, show me exactly what you are calling COVID-19 inside the body or the positive person of COVID-19.” He said “the developed world (is) already owning up to the truth about COVID-19.” He did not elaborate on who and who has owned up on the non-existence of COVID-19. Mr Otoikhian said everything about COVID-19 indicates it is not real at all. He argued that the disease does not exist because “if after all analysis being done, and COVID-19 is a virus and the first recommendation in the term of the treatment came from somebody who is not a medical doctor, who recommended chloroquine.”
According to the Lagos Chairman of Medical Guild, Dr Oluwajimi Sodipo, the affected workers were part of the first set of volunteers at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, and those drafted to the Onikan Isolation Centre include medical doctors, nurses and pharmacists. He said, “Although I can’t give a specific number of workers affected, the majority of them were Medical Guild members. “The state government just suddenly informed them and claimed they wanted to rotate health workers in the isolation centres. Our challenge had been that there had been no agreement with them in the first place when they started, even those that had been asked to leave, they were still being owed remuneration for the previous months they have been working. “Some of the affected workers complained that they had at one point or the other became positive with COVID-19 and there was no clarification on the insurance that they were supposed to benefit from the state government. All these things should have been clearly stated in an agreement before they resumed at the isolation centre.”

I Helped Rigged 2016 Governorship Election For Akeredolu- Ex-Ondo SSG
Abegunde had on Monday morning tendered his resignation following a cold war between him and Governor Akeredolu. He opened up on his resignation and issues between him and the governor in on a programme on Crest 87.7 Fm, which was monitored by our correspondent in Akure. He said some “moneybags” in the All Progressives Congress including himself rigged Akeredolu into power in 2016 by manipulating the election result in his favour. According to him, Akeredolu lost the 2016 governorship poll to the then Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, who he claimed was the winner of the election. He said, “It was through the powers from me and other APC pillars that made INEC declare Akeredolu as governor after he had lost the election. “So, Akeredolu didn’t win the Ondo governorship election in 2016 but we made it possible for him to become governor. “We were the pillars behind him and we will not support him again. He will lose this time around.” Speaking on why he resigned his position, the former Ondo SSG said he decided to quit the administration due to the way Akeredolu was running the government. He said, “Akeredolu has reduced the government to the property of his wife, son and in-laws and all government contracts goes to these same set of people from Imo State.” Abegunde further said he was unable to cater for the needs of those who joined him to support the government because funds were not allocated to his office. He denied that the sum of N5m was being allocated to his office on monthly basis and accused the governor of telling lies. He said, “Where on earth did the governor give me such funds or let him come forward with the evidence. “Recently, I reported him to Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State and he promised to invite both of us to Abuja for settlement. “I remember that I told Fayemi that I was going to spit on the face of Akeredolu if he repeated the lies that he was giving me N5m monthly. “And I will then return to Akure to resign and as well inform the public of his looting spree.” While stressing that he had worked with three different governors in the state, Abegunde described the government of Akeredolu as the worst in the history of the state.
